The restructuring of the website in InstantCMS or change of CMS

Good afternoon. I apologize for the maximum Ozersky question, but...
Our educational establishment decided to make my own website. Instructed me (as head. laboratory Informatics).
I chose as the engine InstantCMS. (maybe it was a mistake). Social CMS, I was attracted to. but it is not yet possible to engage teachers and students (one does not need others interact outside the format).
So sociality on the OFFICIAL website did not stick.
Came up and other problems.
The functionality of the gallery not satisfied. You want to insert videos. Require slider on home page, etc.
So... is it worth it to move out and if you leave it somewhere?
And if moving, how to organize import-export data?

PS. I foresee even approximate answers, but I would like to hear the opinion of the community.

Most likely pick up the minuses in karma, but note: you don't describe the problem! Describe the task — advise an adequate CMS (but it might not need? frameworks rule). Good question — half of answer.
I agree. It's just a question — Dumka. You need somewhere to go, and where to go is unclear...
There are authorities (like a customer) But they are the terms of reference do not define.
Is, I (as executor). But I'm an AMATEUR and not a professional.
There are head. departments, teachers, etc. (could be authors, but don't want to)
I have students. etc.
In General, the standard is probably the epic of the website is not tied directly to Commerce. Evaluation criteria are the most subjective, no one wants to create content, and "make me beautiful"

Probably will sit down to write a technical specification and instructions for departments. Probably will take Jooml-u and create a prototype No. 2. - Cristian93 commented on October 8th 19 at 01:26

Import export data — write php (or other) script to migrate data from one DB to another in the desired format. It's a lot easier to transfer data by hand (if you have a lot of data). There are ready-made scripts for such things, but usually you can find them only to ligaments are very common CMS. For others you'll have to write yourself. It's not as difficult as it seems at first glance.

To choose the right CMS you need to define precisely the task which it must fulfill your requirements like it should perform them. Otherwise, again, install the wrong thing and will just think how to do import/export. First, we need to test different systems to see what you like and then score them with real data.
Thanks for the idea to write a script. - Cristian93 commented on October 8th 19 at 01:28

For the official website without social modules I can advise to try 1C-Bitrix. Remember us early in the school imported free software packages from 1C, may be you will be able to request Bitrix?
Another option to try things like Joomla, WordPress.
Bro! What would Beatrix was not good for his mention in the sue here less ;) - Cristian93 commented on October 8th 19 at 01:30

dotcms.com/ as the platform, although maybe not to the point, fujitsu PTS all the praise they say it's their favorite TSMs
about exports don't worry, change is not always for the worse. Even if you have a website written in php demos I think the view would not be amiss dotcms.com/products/demo/
