Where and how to update certificate lists for Windows 7 and the browser?

It may happen that the existing root or otswana certificates can be changed or removed. How do I make sure that my system current.

In particular, in Moziila Firefox.

Found CRL in Firefox pocitace.tomasek.cz/CRL-in-Firefox-Thunderbird/

but how much data is there to be relevant?

How do I make sure everyone present a certificate from a system or browser trust?

Through Windows Update. There are updates to update these certificates. By their name it's obvious.

What is your version of Windows? Do you use a domain? Is WSUS? - Dejon.Park commented on October 8th 19 at 01:52
As far as I remember, Firefox does not use the system cert stores, so that WU/WSUS will not help.
If you need to check the certificates in the Windows store, you can use the Verify:
dir Cert:\LocalMachine\Root |% {$_.Verify()} - Myrtle49 commented on October 8th 19 at 01:55
