JS/JQuery onmouseover event on iPad

Good day!
Faced with the problem:
in the desktop browsers onmouseover calls the function I need, the problem to implement the same for ipad and android devices.
Thanks in advance!
upd: I'm using the drag'n'drop mechanism and I need when you drag one object on another to switch their places, while the element in which I move the object it should work out the event showing on the translucent div element.

Think of anything else, alas, but nowadays the screens of phones do not allow you to catch holding your finger over the item without touching the screen.
As an option, do the similar actions on long press.

There seems to be the dragover event, try it. And in General — is not it easier to catch the location of mouse (finger) and see whether it's within element
to catch the event as an option, but would be to find a prettier solution... - Maud_Homenick30 commented on October 8th 19 at 02:36

ontouchstart, ontouchmove, ontouchend. I'd sold through them. Full replacement is not heard, but is easily written from the ontouchmove handler. Good coordinates and yourself and the goal you know.
