Multiplatform installer?

Does the nature of a free multiplatform (Linux and Windows) installer, not Java-based? IzPack, GlassWorks — Java-based, and add a dependency on Java for C++ Tula is not desirable. InstallJammer — no longer supported. RPM/DEB is not suitable, because the installation procedure needs to be interactive.

Of course, you can write a nice installer for QT, with blackjack, but to reinvent the wheel do not want.

What's the point? In Windows and Linux approach is to install fundamentally different: where the installers where repository. Me as the first in Linux is annoying, and the second in Windows.

So it's better, "crossplatforming" just the opposite, to use to solve the task "install software" procedure adopted in each of the platforms, rather than impose his own.
