explore network protocols, traffic flow, mpls, ospf, bgp, vpls, to play with all kinds of vpn, to build an extensive network, to dig almost all the settings of Wi-Fi chip (the parameters of which are, usually, in 99% of SOHO routers can be counted on the fingers), and with all this gyobutei not to spend money on relatively expensive cisco, then I highly recommend MikroTik RB751G
