email pipe to exim/freebsd

Has exim on freebsd.
I can not configure pipe incoming email to the script.

Did user mail2icq, the script /www/forward/mail2icq.cgi

Write in /home/mail2icq/.forward line

|/www/forward/mail2icq.cgi

or

|/usr/bin/perl /www/forward/mail2icq.cgi

— does not work. Tried with quotes writing, not working.

Wrote /etc/aliases line
mail2icq: |/www/forward/mail2icq.cgi

is also not working.

From exim is quite right that he could run this script?
Try as that user to run.

.forward enough. And the script has the correct first line of what he knew, what we need perl to run? Something like #!/usr/bin/perl (I hope that perl is there).
Thanks for the reply — a casket with a crowbar opened, as usual...
Stood wrong permissions on the file .forward - Myrtle.DuBuque commented on October 8th 19 at 02:47
