Scale the image to fit the screen?

How to make the image completely on the screen without scrolling?

for example, a 1600x1200 image.

and the window size is much smaller.

Previous review someone ate.

I did this:
body {
background:url(img/GU_copy.jpg);
background-repeat:no-repeat;
background-position:center center;
background-attachment:fixed;
-o-background-size: auto 100%, auto;
-moz-background-size: auto 100%, auto;
-webkit-background-size: auto 100%, auto;
background-size: auto 100%, auto;
}
In my opinion there is a lot of excess. IMHO you need to:
body {
background-image: url(...);
background-size: 100%;
}
Prefixes for background-size is not needed, at least I have all browsers (including IE9) at least 3 months correctly treated rule. - florian.Rodriguez73 commented on October 8th 19 at 03:06

Perhaps this method will not work, but still: jsfiddle.net/u6GhW/
