Minimalistic web server?

Tell me a minimalist open source web server, it is required only the ability to execute CGI, no bells and whistles is not necessary, requires minimal memory usage. Will be used in the router.

in bash there is a good web server ;) But in busybox bash is a bit shortened, though you can try. Well, inetd needs to run.

Well, look at all in the direction of the thttpd / lighthttpd or built-in scripting languages of the web server (python/ruby)
In General, the routers usually have a built-in web server, with proper violence, it is possible to push your scripts
About thttpd I thought try to collect it. Lighty for me is still too much memory eats. Web servers in an interpreted script — even more so. But with inetd it is the idea, if it is used, then it is possible in lua to the server. - Velva_Wym commented on October 8th 19 at 03:39

nginx?
Nginx is a good server, but I have it build and run on the router, from memory it turned out more than lighty. - Velva_Wym commented on October 8th 19 at 03:41
Can it fit?
