Missing records from mongoDB

Have a collection with a million+ records. The record is added or updated using upsert. From this collection periodically lost record. Apparently occurs during lack of RAM. Has anyone faced such a problem? How to avoid it?

Try to enable journaling (if not included) and check getLastError in c what are the operations that are being lost records.

I, of course, run a risk, but you might not want to use Mongo?
