Fanless fee for non HTPC server with sata and gigabit lan?

There was a need to alter the home server (torrent rocking and file server) on a completely silent system.

As a basis it was decided to use a nano-itx or pico-itx system, fanless, gigabit lan c and leave the 4 Sata drive (minimum 2).

After gugleniya found some solutions but maybe someone already encountered and can suggest something else.

Now the main contenders:

TS-7800

— the high price

EPIA-P720 or EPIA-P830

— first, Sata 1 second radiator with fan

the main contender KTA55/pITX

— not yet on sale, though in one shop it is written that was supposed to go in the 3rd quarter of 2011

Pico ITX for 4 hdd — a senseless idea — the case of big need. Better get busy you advised above (I have 6 SATA — happy as an elephant). There and support AMDv is, by the way. And the second network can plug. And HD view.
Also do not forget that for the passive cooling systems will need some volume of air, that was where the heat to dissipate. If you collect a small system like that with a body-radiator (I've seen, but there is 2 hdd 2.5" to put).
Honestly not going to use the housing. Want to put hard into something like this and using the outer frame to position the charge and rigid relative to each other. - adam_Leffler commented on October 8th 19 at 03:46
Well, if such boxes under the wheels of the machine are a priori very little space won't hold. mITX only a few cm wider than the 5" bays. I thought, talking about 2,5" drives, just about the size I think.

Put the Board horizontally, and above it hung 4 of these boxes vertically, somewhere, 8-10mm clearance is quite beautiful box.
Or vertically of the box on the side of them to fix the charge.

In my experience the design of the case will say — make dimensional models of the main komplektuhi from some cardboard Yes roll in his hands. Or software 3d modeling, if it's closer. - Ignacio_Romaguera commented on October 8th 19 at 03:49

www.mitxpc.com/products.asp?cat=99 here quite a large selection of fanless motherboard mini-ITX format. I bought them myself, but I think with ventilation, sorry...
On this website you can see beskhlebny mini PSU, because if there is regular power supply with a cooler sense to take expensive silent motherboard can't see... - adam_Leffler commented on October 8th 19 at 03:48

Or critical it picoITX?
It might be better to look towards NAS's? - adam_Leffler commented on October 8th 19 at 03:50
I want no frills and nano-itx or pico-itx. - Ignacio_Romaguera commented on October 8th 19 at 03:53
