One of my student's parents promised to bring the computer out of America. As I understand it the price is not limited, but it makes sense to bring from the States to the screw-head 10-grader (a little bit programming, a little bit 3-D but here and there without fanaticism).

In principle, it makes sense, if you take something new, that it's either not coming soon or just came out there... When I have a new laptop myself so extracted it for me on eBay cost about 900$, we then had the analogs for$ 1200. There are already laptops with i5 second generation, and graphics 310m is better and cheaper...

In my humble experience, in the US you can buy the same laptop which is a third cheaper than in Russia.
To bring from USA desktop computer, again, in my opinion, does not make sense.
