Modules for Python2.7 to mint 10

I put mint 10th. There the default 2.6.6 interpreter, but using the package Manager you can install 2.7, so I did.
The problem is that when you install modules of the Manager(miestelenai, Django and so on) they are put on 2.6.6 and 2.7 can be set only through the downloading of packages and a command line.
Is it possible somehow to force the package Manager to choose which to put the Python modules, or to put them into 2.7?
