Who already tried, what would you recommend to study Groovy (literature, websites)?

Yes, the overall impression of the experienced colleagues is also interesting. Interested, as the only scripting language in my Arsenal was PHP, for many reasons want to abandon it. The main candidate to replace it — Groovy.

Venkat Subramaniam — "Programming Groovy"
I liked the writing style. In addition, the book itself is small, and allows you to quickly start programming on the subject.

I highly recommend to start with an article on Habra Groovy in 15 minutes, really helped me in the initial push for development. To solve work tasks use the portal groovy.codehaus.org and section User+Guide is a very much useful and understandable examples.
