Run it cloned legacy-bios-mbr version of windows 10 on the new ssd?

Have win10 running on a hdd with mbr partitioning and bios in legacy mode.
Going to buy m samsung.2 970 evo 250gb.
You get to clone samsungusa utility on the system partition with Windows from the old hdd to the new ssd and boot from it, despite the fact that NVMe ssd like need only UEFI mode, and Windows now runs in legacy mode BIOS?
Or will it only work during a clean install win10 to the ssd formatted to gpt in uefi mode and the subsequent change priority of running on ssd?
