How to make svg zoom by analogy with background-size: cover;?

You need to make your selections on the screen by analogy with this website: https://dom-renome.ru/flats/scheme/NOUVEAU/
As I understand it, is over the background image based on svg, with poligon responsible for their own floor. Hover over the polygon, it changes its opacity. The background image background: 50% 50% no-repeat; background-size: cover;
The problem is that if I try to repeat this technique at home, my svg scales as if it is a picture background-size: contain;. The resolution is no problem, but scaling posizione svg does not coincide with the position of the picture

Solution
Try adding preserveAspectRatio="xMidYMid slice" to the SVG with these polygons.
Thanks, just what I was looking for! - evangeline37 commented on March 12th 20 at 08:13
