Not there. You need the template, not the Manager
Tell me where he is, in what menu? - Richard.Bechtelar commented on June 7th 19 at 14:56

Thanks , but I still do not understand where is the master page file - Richard.Bechtelar commented on June 7th 19 at 15:02
Go to the template Manager: administrator/index.php?option=com_templates&view=templates
Click on used template (link Settings "template_name").
Layout of the template is in the file index.php

And css styles are usually in the directory css/template.css, see ibid. - Loyce_Schowalt commented on June 7th 19 at 15:05

The main page in Joomla set menu
and it can be just a page(material Jumla) or any component

you need to find the menu that is the main page, and then you have to think on how to edit it

Jumla is still alive?)))
the master page file is not in principle, is the ENGINE, not just static!!!!
the cap and the basement are formed in the template, there is a file called index.php - usually there or scattered across multiple files, if a commercial pattern, they love to foul up this way)))
and a content part (that's below the caps and above the basement))) )from a material is in the materials Manager, look for material that is designated as the main.
so a lot of the nuances, then you chew too expensive, YOUTUBE parabolicity there crap about this CMS leaky car!
and then there are modules, they also add their content to some place, maybe in the middle of the caps, maybe the right third in the basement, etc., but I think you're kinda young to know about it, and so your head is spinning, judging by the question..)))
