How to make a cross to close a modal window was not removed when the uploading of the content?

Hi all. There is a modal window with the closing cross on the right top. When uploading in this window content from an external file .load() - the cross disappears. That is, the content of diva is replaced by the content from the file. It also occurs when .text() , .html() , .append()
What you need to do to cross was still in the right place?

Solution
Add a window inside another block, <div class="modal-content">, for example.

And throw loadable content in it.
Thank you! Works! - Leola_Huel52 commented on March 19th 20 at 08:35

When you append the "x" remains

$('button').click(function(){
$('.overlay').fadeIn(200);
$('.modal-one').show().animate({
 width: '30%',
 height: 100
}).css({
 top: '50%',
 left: '50%',
 transform: 'translate(-50%, -50%)'
 }).append('Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipisicing elit.');
})
 $('.modal-one span, .overlay').on('click', function(){
 $('.modal-one .overlay').fadeOut(500)();
 })
When you need to .load() worked. Since uploading is from an external file. - Leola_Huel52 commented on March 19th 20 at 08:37
