How to make a backdrop-filter cross-browser?

There is such a filter which allows you to blur at least half of the unit without duplicating content
But it only works in webkit though bursting or have to duplicate in this way: codepen.io
Of course that standard is not a channel blur here ...

Is it possible to achieve this effect without such clutter and duplication ?

Tag put a css but it is possible that there are solutions to js/jquery

Try this script https://github.com/AhsanE/backdropjs. It just does what you want, blur out the background. Hope this variant will suit you. Not ideal... you Can look in this side
