How to make an analogue of nofollow for a button?

Hello!
In html to disallow indexing links in tag <a> use the attribute rel=nofollow.

If the page contains a button (<button>) and click on it handles JS, redirecting to the page team

$( ".button" ).on( "click", function() {
window.open("http://externalSite.ru/", '_blank')
})

What if I want to close this link from being indexed by search engines.

And generally do search engines reference the button with the same handler?

Solution
What if I want to close this link from being indexed by search engines.

And so it will not be indexed
i.e. in this embodiment the transition to an external website the search engines will not consider it an external link and to transmit the weight of the page? - Ericka.Effertz commented on March 19th 20 at 08:44
