As canonical to store additional variables / user data in WordPress?

Interested in how correctly to store a variety of user variables and adjust access rights to them?

Some of them may not be available for reading and editing by the user ( for example, some operating variables, ratios ).

The part can be read ( the coordinates of the character / other info / X / Y )

Part can be full access of the owner of the profile ( statuses, quotes, mottos, etc.), but, of course, only with the ability to read data values of other users.

Googled a bunch of variations change the default contact forms, but I think this is the way of perversions =)

Surely there is a correct way of solving the problem.

If someone tell me the right direction, that would be great =)

Thank you all!

PS: I think the most intelligent use of metadata users ( wp_users to wp_usermeta ), I'm on the right track?

On the right. Well, if you have written a personal account (page profile edit on frontend), there you can do the editable required fields, and the rest display as text.
Thank you! =) - Nash96 commented on March 19th 20 at 09:02
