Vim: command to a key combination?

I want to put in the command ":w". As simple as possible, such as:
map < C - w > :w< cr > (doesn't work)
and
map < C-s > :w< cr > - do vim hangs.
How to do it?

Solution
map <C-w> :w<CR>

but in General, ctrl + w by default between Windows jump
yeah, I wanted With no vim hangs completely when I press ctrl+s and C-w does not react, does not save anything. Strange somehow. But C-c works! Hmm... Thanks for the reply! - Dolly_Zieme commented on March 19th 20 at 09:18
