How in css to crop the bottom, the right and left sides of the picture for a certain amount of px?

There is a div tag. Inside is the picture (img) and text.

Need using css to crop the bottom of the pictures to 10px. Still need to cut the right and left sides to 5px (each side to remove the 5px). To cut area simply disappeared, like they never existed. No need to adjust the dimensions of the sides, cut the top, stretch/compress, to center the image, it is not necessary to fill in the cut area, etc.

Similar questions/answers managed to find, but they are not helped to do exactly as stated above.

You need a clip-path() in css, using the parameters set of any geometric object-the mask and thereby the subtraction fragments
Unfortunately, the deal failed. Tag/function, most likely, that which is necessary. I looked at a lot of examples, made many attempts, but most simple (seemingly) is to cut 3 sides of a rectangular picture — never did. Found examples of cropping images using the "clip" using position: absolute, but (with position: absolute) in General, the content of the site collapsed (distorted). Or another way I need, or this tag is to pick all, at this stage, the brain is not enough. You — thank you for the reply. - chauncey commented on March 19th 20 at 09:26

Perhaps someone will suggest another solution to the problem (if it exists). With clip-path again, not yet able to understand.
