Solution
Decided:
Need to edit the environment variable $PATH in Linux.
Linux (also UNIX) $PATH is an environment variable used to specify the shell where to find executables. Programs/scripts, located in the directory $PATH can be executed directly in your shell without specifying their full paths.
You can see what directories to search for executable files (the directories are listed after the colon):
echo $PATH
In my case, the Bash shell and I had to edit the file ~./.bashrc

The steps:
1. The editable file .bashrc in your home directory
gedit .bashrc
2. At the bottom you can see here these lines
# added by Anaconda3 4.2.0 installer
export PATH="/home/max/anaconda3/bin:$PATH"

3. Comment out the last line and add the directory containing the standard Python. It looks like this:
# added by Anaconda3 4.2.0 installer
#export PATH="/home/max/anaconda3/bin:$PATH"
export PATH="/usr/bin:$PATH"

4. Save the file and restart your computer.
