Russian spelling dictionary of the Russian language Institute. V. V. Vinogradova (2012) gives the spelling of "cache" in the context of Finance (cash), and in the context of Informatics (cache). (which recommends options offered by the dictionary) has for this word such a comment:
Here everything is consistent, no rushing. The authors conservatively suggest not to increase the available number of roots with e, rightly assuming that the new for the Russian language, the words tend to the development and mitigation, not purely spelling by depriving them of the chance to get used phonetically in the future. Considered, however, that in the Russian language, many borrowed words are written with E after a hard consonant and these words much more than words E. Otherwise, the word "sandwich" and "computer" should be written with TE... Remind about the once existed (Palestiina) writing "the player".
