Select word double click (win7) captures the word + a space after it. How to highlight without a space?

This concerns the selection in the Explorer and in Word, and words in the browser. Ie the problem is at the system level, not individual applications.

I found different tips - hold the cursor a second on the second click, or squeezed slightly to move the mouse etc. It really does work, but it's not more convenient than manually with the mouse to draw the word boundary.

How to make Windows for double-click always and without additional movements singled out only the word without a space after it?

After selection, press Shift+left Arrow.

Shift+left Arrow after each selection is an extra gesture just. Uncomfortable - granville35 commented on March 20th 20 at 11:41
