Why Javascript is enabled in tor browser?

Going on https://yandex.ru/internet/ in tor browser and saw that JavaScript is enabled.
Wrote a script on jsfiddle - opened in tor browser. The script works.
Js but the principle is unsafe. In conjunction with server-side languages you can learn a lot about the user.

Solution
You are confusing tor and the tor browser or tor browser bundle, or what have you.
By itself, tor nothing to do with js has not.

upd when talking about this tor browser'e, they have in the FAQ it is.
JS is enabled by default, but it applied pretty hard setting NoScript'and other methods.

But that's no JS in the current Internet, doing absolutely nothing.
Most of the sites stupid will not work.

In the end, if you turn off JS completely - users will begin to ask questions why the browser is not running. And include the JS. And so it is included with pretty tough settings.
