What version of Opencart?
The idea should be:
$this->load->view('common/icon');
Version 2.3.0.2 (trs-2.3.0.0) Your variant tried, still looks for the file in the default template, although in the settings you select another template and works on another template - Domenica62 commented on March 20th 20 at 11:57
@joanny_Kirl, uh, check it out on 2.3
Everything works as it should.
If there is a file in the folder with the theme, loaded it.
If not, boot default - Nigel_Turn commented on March 20th 20 at 12:00
@colten.Conroy5, any idea why I have not works? - Domenica62 commented on March 20th 20 at 12:03
@joanny_Kirl, Check paths, file permissions, etc. - Nigel_Turn commented on March 20th 20 at 12:06
@colten.Conroy5, some sort of mystery, if you check here so what is the pattern in the config $this->config->get('config_theme') . '_directory'
It shows my template
And it tries to look in default
$this->load->view('common/icon'); - Domenica62 commented on March 20th 20 at 12:09
