How to start GUI Windows in the Docker Windows Server 2016?

Good day!

Required on Windows Server 2016 to launch the second "machine". Option virtualization eliminated, as this VPS from Amazon EC2 which is not running Hyper-V and there is no way to deploy VMWare. I had to learn the containers.

Managed to run the second Wednesday of the command docker run -it mcr.microsoft.com/windows/servercore:ltsc2016 but it's only a command line mode.

How to start GUI?

Perhaps there lies the clue:
servercore:ltsc2016 ?
in General, it is only lyse the kernel?

How to run full Windows? This topic is for me "dark forest"... - Abdul55 commented on March 23rd 20 at 18:58
@Abdul55Not familiar with Amazon, try the obvious thing is to remove the core (and suddenly will be full).
If not, then the GUI there is a paragraph how to enable GUI on version Core.
And there you can just deploy the full Windows? - dorothea.Grady commented on March 23rd 20 at 19:01
"And there you can just deploy the full Windows?"

So I'm trying to figure it out... - Abdul55 commented on March 23rd 20 at 19:04
@Abdul55, in native containers - no way, M$ have to lock exclusively on Server Core. - Meghan.Beatty commented on March 23rd 20 at 19:07
@dorothea.Grady, In 2016 no longer works - Meghan.Beatty commented on March 23rd 20 at 19:10
@Meghan.Beatty, ie, if there is no support for hyper-v, no more options?

PS: qemu tried of course - it is far not a fountain... - Abdul55 commented on March 23rd 20 at 19:13
@Abdul55, Native containers only work on Windows Server 2016-enabled Hyper-V, but in fact no virtualization isn't used (they implemented all the features of the Linux kernel, which are containers). Technically it could work on desktop but due to the difference in the cores decided functionality zablocie. - Meghan.Beatty commented on March 23rd 20 at 19:16
