The transition from openstack admins to Amazon?

Guys need some advice.
3 years working as a admin cloud powered by Openstack, the first year was ispolzovali Mirantis platform now Red Hat Openstack. There is a small reserve in this area.

Call the office where widely used Amazon (AWS) cloud.

The issue is not even money, but in the long run.

Where to invest your valuable capital - time ?

The Openstack you know me well enough, but always stumble on the fact that it is very difficult to find a decent documentation on the platform even if we have Red Hat Openstack, and in fact only go on experience and perseverance.

Constantly now wondering what don't want to be left with nothing because they see Openstack as some chips are stupidly copies from Amazon (AWS) and is constantly in the position of catching up. Maybe just go learn from the source ?

Thank you.

In fact two strategies of behavior -

very hard to find a normal platform documentation
write documentation, most likely for a long time and for free

Maybe just go learn from the source?
or join the leader

And your choice of "where to go" you have probably made

But that
don't want to be left with nothing
you need to study both solutions and their competitors, and not to associate his entire career with just one.

I like Openstage its modularity that is possible with it as with the designer to modify according to the needs of the cloud architecture. What is terribly annoying is baby bugs, especially with new versions. The patch on the bug is important to us, we waited half a year from Red Hat.
