How to change the pictures in your slider from admin panel in wordpress?

There is a slick slider, I changed its appearance in layout, good slider allows to do it easily.
Then when tried to put a layout on WP gave rise to the following question:
Slider stood in a WP theme, and its appearance, which I customized is not changed, BUT now can upload pictures to then they can add/ remove from the admin area of WP?

Everywhere write about plugins for WP. But can we do without them?
But if the only option is to remove slick slider and put the slider WP plugin, can it change, for example the pagination to move to the bottom left corner, instead of the standard dots to make squares with your color value, shadows, etc.?

It is possible and even necessary.

Ready-made plugins-slider WP - infernal trash and waste. There is usually a Adobe Premier and Adobe AfterEffects in the admin panel that lets you configure the transition effects between slides, the duration (and even Bezier curve), animations and so on. A reasonable person, this heresy is of course not necessary.

To output uploaded images in your slider you just need to get the right attachments (post type) query WP_Query. How to organize the loading mechanism of pictures in the admin panel in the desired location (Customizer settings page, the edit page, front page, etc) - depends on where you need it, but the easiest and most convenient way is to use the ACF plugin (or equivalent).
Thank you, this is the second person who suggests this plugin. I will understand - Andre_Gislason42 commented on March 23rd 20 at 19:13
@Andre_Gislason42Because ACF is the gold standard in terms of custom fields :) in Fairness - free version, though powerful enough, but some of the most delicious of fields in it. However, a paid license there are penny compared to other good plugins and (at least yet) - it is life, it is not necessary each year to update. If you work with WordPress and collect their themes, this plugin is a must-have. - Terence commented on March 23rd 20 at 19:16
