Choose a router for home Ethernet connection, the speed of 80 Mbit/s connection type to DHCP (so said the operator).
Would use in the apartment, most often used for video viewing.
The long suffering came to two models among which you can not choose – Tenda AC9
and Keenetic ExtraDignity Tenda AC9:
+ Beamforming (the router sends the amplified signal to the side, where there are devices)
+ There is a samba server
+ Sleep mode of the router night, wifi schedule, power saving mode
+ Does not get hot, say in the reviews, generally praised the router
- Unknown firm, technical support competitor subjectively looks better
- Like there's no built-in torrent
Healthy PSU which will interfere in the network filterDignity Keenetic Extra:
+ Firm better known, the support promises to be good, warranty 4 years
+ The torrent client Transmission
+ More antennas, more powerful signal most likely
+ Compact BP
+ Support the USB modem (there is no reason to use it)
- Probably weaker than the iron (don't know how much this will affect the work)
- No Samba, Beamforming+ and sleep mode - nice feature, the presence of them in Cineteca unknown to me. (If you have an FTP server, you can also use it to transfer files Linux<->Windows)
Several times leaning to different sides in recent times have wanted to take Keenetic, as it came on the characteristics of iron:Tenda:
ARM Cortex-A7 CPU, 1.2 GHz
MT7628N 580 MHz
128 MB DDR2
From this it is clear that Tenda sort of powerful, in General more chips (besides torrent). But Keenetic good company with good support and warranty. The difference is that in a trend Gigabit ports doesn't bother me. I still do not have this speed and not even necessary)Tell me, how you must have more powerful hardware, if you choose from these two? How will it be fundamentally?
