Scroll on the desktop site with the left button of the mouse on your phone/tablet, what is the complexity?

Sorry I've been a looming question in mind: why desktop sites do not duplicate the usual scroll wheel the scroll with the left mouse button, type swipe? As touch devices, hold the mouse and push up the screen goes down. For example, at the time yuzal program bluestacks - emulator Android device, they realized how convenient it is to scroll in this way.
What limitations from the point of view of technology? Need some additional z-layers or something heavy javascriptapi? Or, again, of the Loch a web browser such as IE does not allow to introduce such a standard everywhere?

Also speak your mind whether You need this, maybe for a hundred years in the omelet was discussed where..
Thank you.

Nothing prevents you from using such functionality by writing it yourself or using ready-made libraries, for example hammer.js. But the mouse not only will we skryim. But what about dragging items using drag and drop? But what about the selection of content? How are you going to consider?

I here do not see the essential amenities to scroll in such a way, that was a disgusting way for permanent use on the desktop platform had its very. Spin the wheel and constantly hold the mouse down and carry her up and down is something. This may only be applicable in certain locations where the content is displayed on one axis, such as a map. But what about touchpads? This is me, press the button and the small Taco to carry a finger? Provided its size!!!! I have a hard time to tailor a website
Something you misunderstood. though like I wrote not so clear)
Why turn the wheel and clamping at the same time? You yuzaesh any convenient method, they are duplicated.
About drag n drop and text selection - so that's the whole trick, only when the white areas(negative space, or background, name) pushing - out of the text and elements and scalise.
touch on laptops - scralet as usual. scroll-swipe a duplicate of the usual scroll.
regarding the large page - scroll swipe is the same as on phones - with the acceleration.. the more you repel will fly.
It is very convenient. At times than the fucking wheel. Middle button scroll wheel performs this function, but as something very bad, probably you can have cool mice in the wood to rebuild, but the user much familiar to use one button, and not to rush between the left and middle mouse buttons. - Solon commented on March 23rd 20 at 19:22
@Solon, good luck in realisation of all conceived of the algorithms.

And so, "simpler", see the examples of the GSAP library, there already is all. - clair.Langworth commented on March 23rd 20 at 19:25
@Solon, I think, no one except you is not necessary. I agree with the previous remarks that it would be uncomfortable.

- well, he missed a few pixels and instead the allocation was flying page, thank you, I do not need such a "convenience." - dedric.Yost commented on March 23rd 20 at 19:28
@Solon, used a similar scrolling-only concert halls in the choice of places, read the same map. The Plugin IScroll. There are all your acceleration and other features.

completely agree with @Hornet - brooke_Strosin commented on March 23rd 20 at 19:31
Thank you anyway for your answers! Curious to know public opinion) Thank God I'm not trying to work the startup like that, haha))
This is the whole trick. The generated behavior. Mobile devices - formiruyut new behavior and it is much usabile. Besides, once again I emphasize - we only use non-functional part of the screen, there is a knock in behavior - nothing, still the VA pokes at the background and between paragraphs.

Just strange to me, you people in General phones, tablets, touch monitors, do not use chtoli.. I Have, even though I'm in the desktop in 2000, in the small years of use of mobile devices has formed a new habit, less energy-consuming.

Sorry for the duplicate comments) - Solon commented on March 23rd 20 at 19:34
@Solon, Even as yuzaem, even as more than their computers. You do not compare a platform, it's in the devices themselves. Motorcycle, car, bike, scooter, helicopter, plane, train - all do 1 and the same goal, deliver from point a to point b(well, or pleasure, the essence is the same)!!! The design of these vehicles is different from each other as their pilot and each is designed exclusively for their purposes. But that doesn't mean they all have to drive on gasoline and the internal combustion engine!

Just imagine sitting at home, people have to scroll the website fumbling finger on the monitor or, even worse, on TV!!! The difference in the amount of information that the user sees in the second place the position of the user, bus, shop, cafe, toilet. 27 inch monitor sitting in a chair with my leg on the table, left hand holding coffee, the easiest way is to scroll the mouse wheel, because it is the least expensive power reception, so to call it. But for small 5-10 inch screen(phone and tablet) is more convenient to scroll your fingers across the screen sitting in the same, because it's handheld gadgets. - Shad commented on March 23rd 20 at 19:37

My personal opinion is to scroll with the mouse and easier, and faster. And most importantly - it is already a standard formed behaviors, which change... Well only on special occasions.

Have a friend man the laptop with a touch screen - that's not used at all. Although it seems to be more convenient in some cases. - bridgette.Jenkins82 commented on March 23rd 20 at 19:27

Everything is already there and implemented. Clamp LMB on the scroll bar and scrole as much as you want.
The bonus scroll is relative to the entire length of the page and not just its visible part.
