Custom posts for a blog or standard?

You need to make a blog for a site in which the blog is not the main part of the site. So, trying to use the standard WP solution, and that's what the problem - does not display the breadcrumbs on the main blog page, when you click on categories and posts the address of otsutsvuet /blog/ and the crumbs too. These problems can be solved? (Yandex can't find anything, because all the results - how to put wp and fill it). Or should I create a custom post type with taxonomies and there is a blog to organize?

@zackery.Murphy96, dimox_breadcrumbs() - tyrel75 commented on March 23rd 20 at 19:41
@tyrel75, this kind of self-written parser function in which the author does not take into account the options settings of WP. Take a more well-known plugin, for example this https://ru.wordpress.org/plugins/breadcrumb-navxt/ - zackery.Murphy96 commented on March 23rd 20 at 19:44
