Why can't I see the entry page and displays a 404 error?

Created a page specifying the Archive Page template, which is included in archive.php.

Specified this page in "Settings"->"Reading"

Changed the link page to wordlpress.loc/archive

Went to wordlpress.loc/archive/, and there is a 404 error

Hello!
As any code you have not provided, I will analyze your text...

Created a page specifying the Archive Page template, which is included in archive.php.

Template archive.php not intended for the page. This template archive. For a page you can use the following templates index.php, page.php, page-XXX.php, lubetzky (only in the template specify the Template name)

Changed the link page to wordlpress.loc/archive

Maybe a conflict of URLs? Maybe the problem is with the htaccess config? Maybe the problem with permanent links (permalinks are not configured...)?
The issue I corrected on the "not displayed" in the title. A small typo went

The message:

From the code only in the file archive.php:
<?php
//Template Name: Archive Page
?>

Everything else was done through the admin VP.

In General, you need to create a page with the archive records, as I understand it is done in a way that I have described in the text threads - Kayli commented on March 23rd 20 at 19:36
