# How to derive the formula for calculating profit?

Hi, trying to derive a formula for the calculation of profit as one site.

On the website put a bet on a certain percentage of victory, more risk more profit and deducted the Commission from the rate, like 0.01% as I understand it, this is not accurate.

Case studies:
rate => 100
winning percentage => 100
profit => -0.1

rate => 100
winning percentage is => 95
profit => 5.1578

rate => 100
winning percentage => 90
profit => 11

rate => 100
winning percentage => 50
profit => 99.8

rate => 100
winning percentage => 15
profit => 566

rate => 100
winning percentage is => 5
profit => 1898

rate => 100
winning percentage => 1
profit => 9890

I don't quite catch what affects the result because the formula which I deduced, are suitable only for 1 case.

Solution
like so:
profit = bet * (( 100% / victory% ) - 1) * ( 100% - Commission% )
and the Commission here like 0.1%
Check, I'm too lazy to check all the cases.

Upd. with the Commission is not quite clear :) it Seems that the Commission is taken as a percentage of the winnings but if the winnings are zero, then the Commission is taken as a percentage rate.
thanks you helped me with finding a relationship.
I did
bet * (100m / percent - 1m) - bet * 0.001 m
we got what you need.

The mathematical expectation of this formula -5% like normal :) - isom_Maye commented on March 23rd 20 at 19:40

the nonsense here is what is written. 2 the last case the same conditions and different profit
