How to integrate a version control system in Unity?

Need a project to integrate the version control system, but there is not much charité( I Read that there is Perforce and PlasticSCM. Who can enlighten a bit in this thread ? Which of these two is better to use, can I use them in unity personal, if not-whether there are analogues, if Yes-where can I find good tutorials ? And that all advise on this subject ?

License unity has nothing to do with the version control system. And, in principle, to unity it is not necessary to integrate.
So take what you like - and use.
Only assets in text mode switch (this is in unity)
