Do I need to check the value of $_GET['is_app_user'] in the iframe application?

Hi, I developed HTML5/Websockets game for PC and Android and are now trying to run it on multiple platforms, including on Facebook.

Unfortunately, to get a waiver and support claims that my game is not visible at all (although I see her with an account of his wife):

In PHP: my application is at the very beginning (right now I have this block removed, as again sent the application for review):

if ($_GET['is_app_user'] != 1) {
 exit('App is not installed');
}

My question is: do I need to do this check or is it obsolete (I copied it from another old script) and the app will work without it?

And recommended in the settings of the application note "Installing application: not required"?

The app will work.
If you the functionality you need. to the user it was set - make a soft processor, that is, for example, notice that you need to install the app without cropping functionality.
Thank you! And what means "set" - only that it will appear in the list of games the user?

Or installation of the application will have any additional rights? (I clarify, because my game while unsuccessfully trying to send secure.sendNotification). - Mia.Koch commented on June 8th 19 at 16:43
