Server game in Python — is this normal?
I have an idea - write turn-based game in Python, with multiplayer through the server. Is it worth doing? Is it possible to write the backend in Python or better only the client?

Who ban. Right now would be to offer java/nodejs/C++/PHP/etc
On what can, and write. Then you will know what you are missing in your PL/framework, and may then go to another PL/framework, but already having experience.
Especially if step-by-step, the load will be minimal.
I just remind you about Eve Online.
