Who like convert the audio to the IVR in Asterisk?

Learn Asterisk.
If you do asterisk> file convert xxx.wav xxx.ulaw
the asterisk swears on a file if it is not mono, and if not satisfied with something.

May already invented what module itself to know how to convert WAV any format to the desired codec?

Perhaps there is some kind of harness for any audio Converter in Linux. But since I with audio in my life were not working, I would like to know from the experts how they do in this case?

for AA try this in console of Linux:
sox in.wav -r 8000 -c 1 out.wav
and don't use ulaw, we have a standard alaw...

  • "Split to mono stereotrack", delete one channel
  • Put Frequency of the project: 8000Hz
  • well, to Export -> WAV -> WAV (Microsoft) signed 16 bit PCM
alas, I need automation, not poking with the mouse. But thanks for the offers! - Garnet_Luettg commented on April 3rd 20 at 17:19
