That can be read for parsing syntaxchecker designs?

Interested in writing parsers and compilers.
What you can read on this subject? So far only interested in something simple. Want as a first project to write a parser for json structures and jquery requests, then go to SQL.
Thought to try to start with the book of dragons, but it seemed to me that it is about a full(Turing-complete) languages.

Dragon book describes the translators, starting with the basics. You just these basics (finite state machines and grammars) needed.

In principle, for starters, you can watch this course https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ot-IMy_4ENg&list=P... based on it I was able to build a complete parser for the Java/Rust like language. And there is absolutely no any grammars and other heresies, but there is all that is necessary to interest the beginner.
