Kotlin Java without make sense?

I decided to study Android development, but have a question: does it make sense Kotlin teaches first, and then while working on some little projects to get into Java where without it in any way?

Solution
Yes, everything is, Java is not needed. You can easily learn Kotlin, if you are not afraid that vacancies are less. Features of the jvm, then you can learn.
Thanks for the reply:) what about study time? I understand that the question is quite individual, but is it possible to learn how to write a small app for a couple of months, with training 4-5 hours a day? - Julianne_Koze commented on April 3rd 20 at 17:52
@Julianne_Koze, Yes, there are examples. - Elroy_Toy1 commented on April 3rd 20 at 17:55
depends on initial skills. All that Java that Kotlin can be a couple of weeks to study. The problem basically is that just on pure languages no one writes and use frameworks. But it is the applications job apply. A small program very early can already begin to do - eliza_Zboncak29 commented on April 3rd 20 at 17:58
@Elroy_Toy1, Denis, but when do you think jobs for Java will start to disappear and will appear kotlin?
Just now this junction of time, that all they write about needed Java before learning Kotlin, but the cubs don't want to waste your time(especially since it many are limited) unnecessary language and surrounding options, because sooner or later a change will happen. - khalil_Renner commented on April 3rd 20 at 18:01

@khalil_Renner, rumors about the death of Java are slightly exaggerated.
At least 10 years will flutter.
But if I die Java and Kotlin'got sick.
Because Kotlin is standing on the shoulders of giants. :-) - reanna_Ortiz commented on April 3rd 20 at 18:07
@reanna_Ortiz, Thank you) - khalil_Renner commented on April 3rd 20 at 18:10
@reanna_Ortiz, what is Kotlin sick from the death of Java? Even if you suddenly die all of the JVM, Kotlin is the Nativ and JS.
Vacancies for Android with pure Java is becoming smaller, people are massively moving to Kotlin. Because in the past many of the problems considered. - Elroy_Toy1 commented on April 3rd 20 at 18:13
@Elroy_Toy1, and is it possible to create a "big" application in Kotlin? - Julianne_Koze commented on April 3rd 20 at 18:16
@Julianne_Koze, what do you mean "big"? Kotlin interoperable with Java, available to all libraries, so you can write everything you can write in Java. We write Yandex.Maps for Android on Kotlin(yet with pieces of Java legacy) plus Kalinovskogo code works under coral, it is quite "big"? Jetbrains wrote Space fully on Kotlin, it is quite "big"? - Elroy_Toy1 commented on April 3rd 20 at 18:19
@weston_Koelpin, you will be surprised when I say I have studied the Kotlin for 2 days?:-D seriously, though, after Java, C++, Lisp and 3-4 weird languages. - Elroy_Toy1 commented on April 3rd 20 at 18:22
@khalil_Rennerwho is "everyone"? This junction has already passed, at this time, you can learn Kotlin, not knowing Java. - Elroy_Toy1 commented on April 3rd 20 at 18:25
@Elroy_Toy1Now Kotlin will replace mostly Java. And it is mainly in mobile development.
The rest of the way, it's alternate airports.
That's why I said that Kotlin sick and die. :-) - reanna_Ortiz commented on April 3rd 20 at 18:28
@Julianne_KozeEasily. Kotlin + SpringBoot - any application of any complexity :-) - reanna_Ortiz commented on April 3rd 20 at 18:31
@reanna_Ortiz, I do not understand why he should Plachet. - Elroy_Toy1 commented on April 3rd 20 at 18:34

The syntaxes of the languages you can learn in a month. They are simple.
But then you will need an understanding of how the jvm works. But here's the problem - most books on java this explains. Most books on Kotlin is skipped. (For a few reasons. But, IMHO, the main that these books are written for people who already know how to program in java)
Therefore, choosing the first language of kotlin, in parallel, get ready to take a book on java and learn what lies behind the syntax.

The result: while no proper textbooks for the primary level. After a year or two, I think it will be possible to study one book programming in kotlin from the beginning to an acceptable level.
Thank you) - khalil_Renner commented on April 3rd 20 at 17:54
