How to exclude a sequence of characters negation "not" in regexps?

There is an option[^41001]. This is what any of these numbers should not fall in line, and need a clear sequence, i.e. 1 or 4 can be, but not in this sequence, and not (?!41001), since then he just cuts off or truncates the value.
