Why not work on 1.11, and works for 1.12/1.13?

There is such a function:
func Select(request string, obj interface{}, values ...interface{}) (interface{}, error) {
 var Products []Product
 return Products, psql.Select(request, &Products, values...)
}

If you use version 1.11 go - then in the place where is called the Select flies Products is nil
If you use the 1.12 version of go - then the data in the slice is. Just wondering, what is the reason? This is a bug? Feature?
