Narrow question. All the same on the Internet or in intranet? If the local network, it is everywhere in different ways. For example, the address may be issued dynamically via DHCP, but always one and the same. The net is now statics only for servers and network devices. So it's safe to say that the offices -- 80-99% dynamics home -- 99-100% dynamics.

Hospede, why try to be clever then? Obviously, what TS says. - Morton_Mitchell95 commented on April 3rd 20 at 19:00

100% dynamics
why statics?
I have a home statics. There is less than 100% is obtained. - mariah commented on April 3rd 20 at 19:04
@berneice_Bergnaum,
why statics?
How clients will connect to the server, if it IP is constantly changing?
Or how you connect to the remote computer, if you do not know his address? - stuart_Corwin88 commented on April 3rd 20 at 19:07
@stuart_Corwin88, there are domain names - gonzalo commented on April 3rd 20 at 19:10
@gonzalo, And the domain to which the address is to be bound, if you have a dynamic address? - stuart_Corwin88 commented on April 3rd 20 at 19:13
@stuart_Corwin88, for this is DynDNS; alternatively, you can give out via DHCP, to do issued addresses permanent for the right Mentone - gonzalo commented on April 3rd 20 at 19:16
@gonzalo, server at DynDNS ? Half of the customers will fall off.
This is for a home PC a reasonable solution, but not for the server.

you can address to give out via DHCP, to do issued addresses permanent for the right Mentone
Well, how else then? Do not hand the register them on each computer? - stuart_Corwin88 commented on April 3rd 20 at 19:19
@stuart_Corwin88,
>This is for home PC OK, but not for the server.
It is exclusively your opinion - gonzalo commented on April 3rd 20 at 19:22

At home online 99% percent of users.
A normal user will not configure statics on DHCP and the default is dynamic.

In the corporate sector it is difficult to say - the statics are mostly servers, but workstations, too often isolated.
