Is it possible to stream audio from PC to the phone using the microphone input?

The essence of what I want to do is quite simple: to transmit sound from the computer on the cell phone. This begs the option to take this adapter:

and connect the microphone input of the phone with the headphone output of the computer.
But is this a viable scheme? And I will not kill you phone?

Solution
In theory - possible.
But it guarantees that nothing will burn - no one will.
All you will do at your own risk!
Here zhezh. And to minimize the risks possible? Some measurements Sdelay, resistor solder... - lauren commented on April 4th 20 at 00:33
@lauren, it is necessary to know the circuitry, which is installed inside the phone.
The simplest way to measure characteristics of its microphone and make Galvanauskas (transformer between two independent circuits) and in its chain to emulate the microphone. - Jewel.Croo commented on April 4th 20 at 00:36
@Jewel.Croo, I found this design:

perhaps I'll start experimenting with it.
Thanks for the tips. - lauren commented on April 4th 20 at 00:39

In theory - possible, Yes.
Nothing will burn.
That will not burn - it's a lie: it all depends on the output voltage (wave amplitude/loudness). - Jewel.Croo commented on April 4th 20 at 00:35
@Jewel.Croo, in home PC stabiliziruemost output voltage is within safe limits.

The quality is so-so, because the sound will go in the form of an analog signal
And here quality?!
The question was not about that! - Jewel.Croo commented on April 4th 20 at 00:37
