How to organize audio notifications in the Chrome extension?

Prompt how correctly to organize sound notifications in the Chrome extension notifications are working even when minimized chrome.

I have a special bot periodically checks the message boards for interesting me orders and, if available, will emit an audible signal, the signal reproduced from the content script, and unfortunately does not always work.

Probably I something not so do. Perhaps it makes sense to reproduce the signal from the background tab or a popup window? Or even to create the Protocol and then knocking it through the URL?

In General, prompt, as it is customary to arrange the audio notifications in chrome "for science".

If you mean background.js then Yes, it would be better.
Will not be extinguished if the sound from the background chrome, if the browser window is suddenly minimized? - kianna.Met commented on April 4th 20 at 00:37

@kianna.Met, everything works as it should. And sound, and a notification appeared from a minimized chrome. - willow62 commented on April 4th 20 at 00:52
