What affects the performance in 3D-editors?

So there is a pretty old PC. In 3D MAX is relatively complex scenes revolve well. But in Blender or Modo viewport starts to lag noticeably, and in some places to hang out despite the fact that the scenes are simple, Polycom is not enough.

Soobstvenno that affects smooth picture in the viewport? CPU or video card?

And what can you recommend to put (percent + graphics card) maximum budget, with a demand somewhere up to 1 million polygons in the scene, what would it all without lags flying. Programs which expect to run "Blender" and "MODO".

P. S I only perceive the 3D world, large and heavy scenes I will not soon will be, so long as budget iron need

CPU, memory, video card, disk.
Some of this - have to look what place is narrow in your case.
In my case, narrow everything. Sobieraj to change everything, but gradually. So wanted to know what would cost to start percent or vidyuhi - Keaton.Weber commented on April 4th 20 at 13:14
@Keaton.Weber,

This is not seen.

Flip a coin - if heads, the percent of heads or tails - video. - Howell_Hermiston57 commented on April 4th 20 at 13:17

You can watch the download the work.
And without some data and config - guess what... - Layne.Muraz commented on April 4th 20 at 13:20
@Layne.Muraz, to guess and not necessary. My PC configuration will do nothing, I'm starting to make a new one. But I need to know what to focus on? CPU or video card? To be productive you need a map and feeble percents? Or, on the contrary, a powerful processor and a simple graphics card. And maybe even throw a video card and take the top processor with lots of RAM. That's really interesting. - Keaton.Weber commented on April 4th 20 at 13:23
@Keaton.Weber, first and foremost, productive percents - there is no options. It is necessary to look from corei5 c maximum frequency and above. Or equivalent AMD.
Video card is a good prof series. But as the budget - no. Built-in antalovsky the graphics are quite well drawn in the viewport, if you there's nothing daunting do not. And want more, buy the video card.

Memory - it's a start 16GB, less makes no sense to put.
SSD NVMe sufficient - not back to back was filled with data. - Howell_Hermiston57 commented on April 4th 20 at 13:26
@Howell_Hermiston57, here it is on the merits. Thank you for such a detailed response) - Keaton.Weber commented on April 4th 20 at 13:29

Well here it is purely a performance issue. I think it would be possible slightly to increase the computer op and the percent change, and of course when working with 3D need a powerful video card.
