How to write a batch file?

Good day, comrades. Need to write a batch file. which will perform some actions, such as deleting (but I need to not delete :-) ) files with the jpg extension. If I understand the algorithm of actions the such:
1) Get a list of files with that extension, put them in a text file
2) Somehow get for every file your team
3) Execute these commands in sequence
This raises a couple of questions: how can I get command for each file, and how to make each command only after the previous one?

The question title "How to write a batch file?"
Take a text editor and write commands.

The content of the question at odds with the title and has a sense of "What to write in the batch file?"
For example, the deletion, but I don't have the removal...
Read the command reference in the context of what you need and write in the batch file needed.

Executing commands in the batch file goes line by line, or in cycles that are defined.
