Youtube data API: what for a glitch with the video search?

Some requests for youtube data api not implemented. Tell me what could be the reason?
Example query:
1. Unit of GMI per - 0 results, although using a normal search finds many videos.
2. Unit HMI PE - deleted one character and results appeared.

What could it be?

I do not know how really works a search in YouTube, but here are some possible reasons:
1) substring "PE" found in the full video description or recognized speech, while there was not a substring of "ln".
2) a fairly typical solution for full-text search - normalization words - lemmatization, stemming, correction of typographical errors and replacing abbreviations with complete words. It is possible that "per" in their vocabulary was an abbreviation for "lane", "translation" or any other.
3) exclusion from the search of pretexts.
4) exception to search short words, if they have no one to meet and they have no normal form.
A little confused - in the browser version of the roller, and the API throws an error. We need to throw out the API and parse the results. - Yasmeen.Rodrigu commented on April 7th 20 at 11:09
