Hello! Tormented with the choice of CMS. Have a friends Studio which is engaged in gifts and design/implementation of interventions. First and foremost, the site should be a showcase of their products, the services and news sections which can be upgraded. Basket and payment is not available (but plans to add it in the future when the site takes off).
- ease of writing, design and additional modules
- ability to add in the future online store
- search content, the ability to manage search results
Of course immediately there are thoughts about WordPress, but my personal experience on it 3 years ago was not very comforting. Besides, like WP as a CMS for blogs and not the store. Is it worth it to go back to WordPress? Or take a look at Joomla, Drupal and OpenCart?
Want to know the opinion of more experienced masters. Thank you for your attention!
I write my opinion and do not claim to absolute truth
The choice of CMS for website/blog/shop or some other kind of Internet resource is the business of the developer and his personal preferences , the question is very broad ...

HostCMS (heard good..)
All sorts of Worpress, Joomla, God forbid... or Drupal don't fit out of the BOX! for interent store... Yes, it is easy finalized
but the THEY also need to suit your needs finished ... better budget to spend...
Maybe not unequivocally, but the main queries closes.
Yes, out of the box all the necessary will not work. But all problems can be solved quite adequate ways, and all the rest of the improvements can be modularly implement the development of the project itself, or by using ready-made plugins or services.
But in General, everything is very individual.
